I always avoid writing about events in my life in my blog and if asked why I'll say it's to avoid looking too self-involved. But the truth is I am incredibly self-involved, I just don't like people to know how dull my everyday life is. Very little of note happens to me and while I might be able to spin the duller events in such a way they could be considered interesting, it still seems like something that wouldn't be hugely exciting to read. Which, to be fair, describes most of my blog.
But really I think most people believe their lives are mundane for the most part and they are arguably correct. But it all very much depends on how you look at it. There are bound to be people who lead what many would consider exciting lives who find the repetition of there lives to be dull. Perhaps many of my readers (I have to throw in a joke somewhere each week, this time it's the idea that I have many readers) would find my perspective on my life interesting, but the problem is I would be presenting it from the perspective of someone who is bored by it, so I imagine most of you would be bored by the anecdotes on that merit alone.
Essentially, I annoyed that I won't let myself write about my life as it would make it a hell of a lot easier to come up with topics each week. Why not leave some suggestions for future topics in the comments? We haven't done that for ages.
