Facial hair

      This week has been quite an important one for me, partly because I had two exams on one day which I worked out were the cumulation of about a years worth of work, but mostly because I shaved my beard. This was the first time in nearly a year that I had shaved, the last time being the  night before my prom as I felt my beard wouldn't go with my dress. It should be noted, for those who like to follow my facial hair happenings, that I haven't completely removed my facial hair as I have left a bit of a beard and all of my moustache, but more on that later.

      I will miss my beard, not because it made me look good (it didn't), but because it was fun to play with. You see the fact is everyone wants to play with their pubic hair because it's fun, but they can't. Then along came beards and people were all like "Wow, it's like pubic hair, for your face!" At least that's how I assume the beard came about. See, you can play with your beard and look wiser. If you try doing that with lower hair you'll end up in jail. But in the end I still decided that having what was frequently being described as a "bum beard", "hill-billy beard" and "just rather silly looking beard" wasn't worth it and probably wasn't making me look wiser anyway.

      So now I mostly just have a moustache, with a bit of a beard. I am quite happy with this and now plan to get some moustache wax to style it. The main problem I'm having is what style to go with, though I'm thinking probably I'll stick with a Dalí.
